An indie garage-rock six piece band from Leeds, 10,000 Things were Sam Riley (vocals), George Riley (bass), Davro (guitar), Will Newman (guitar), Justin Jackson (percussion), and Stob (drums). The band was active from 2003 until 2006, when Sam Riley left to play Ian Curtis in the movie 'Control', a biopic of the Joy Division singer.
They released their debut EP in 2003 for Domino Records and toured the UK with two more Leeds-based bands (The Cribs and The Blueskins). After a few more singles they released their only album (self-titled) in April 2005.
