Agnes

Agnes Carlsson, born on 6th of March 1988, is a Swedish pop artist and a reality-TV attendant who comes from Blasut in Vanersborg. She participated, and won, Swedish Idol 2005. After this victory she got to release her debut single "Right Here, Right Now (My Heart Belongs to You)" that got to a first place on the single list in Sweden. The single sold platina and got to a first place in both Tracklistan and Svensktoppen. Even her first album "Agnes" sold platina. In october 2006 she released her second album "Stronger". In 2009 she participated in the Swedish national final of the Eurovision Song Contest with a song called "Love Love Love" that made it to 8th place. Her favorite artists are Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Beyonce Knowles.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
