Allison Moorer (born June 21, 1972 in Mobile, Alabama) is an American alternative country singer and the younger sister of Shelby Lynne.
Wed to Steve Earle, Allison Moorer plays guitar, composes her own songs, and writes her own lyrics. Her music can be compared to that of Catherine Irwin and Lucinda Williams.
