1. Robert Beresford "Bobby" Brown (born 5th February 1969) is an American Grammy-winning R&B singer and dancer. Brown began his career with the boy band New Edition in 1980, but was later ousted from the group because of behavioral problems. He embarked on a solo career in the late 1980s, and had a string of Top-10 Billboard hits. Brown was the husband of R&B singer Whitney Houston, and was the star of his own reality show, Being Bobby Brown.

2. Bobby Brown was a New-York-based jazz alto saxophonist who, apart from leading his own quartet in the 1970s, was a long-time member of Willie Bobo's band.

3. The Californian Bobby Brown released the album The Enlightening Beam of Axonda in 1972. He gained a reputation for his self-built percussion set, with which (together with hundreds of other self-built instruments) he created a kind of one-man orchestra to accompany his own singing

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
