There are at least two bands to have recorded under the name of Brenda.
1. The Portland, Maine rock trio Brenda, a staple indie act in the United States. By the end of 2010, Brenda will have performed with such prominent acts as Wilco, Grizzly Bear, Dr. Dog, The Cave Singers, Bear In Heaven, She & Him, and Maps and Atlases. Their debut LP, Silver Tower, is scheduled for release June 29th on Mckeenstreet Music. They were recently voted the 'Best Indie Act' by the Portland Phoenix.
2. The UK band The Feral Text, formerly known as Brenda.
