Elephant Ride is the first band of Andrew Paul Woodworth, produced by LedZep bassist (John Paul Jones).
They signed to Sony, but failed to garner commercial attention, so that Elephant Ride disbanded and Woodworth regrouped, forming Virgil in 2002.
In 2002, Virgil released its debut album, "Virgil" and then "My Paradise" (2004) and quickly carved a niche for themselves in the alt rock scene.
