Emmure

Emmure is a metalcore band from New Fairfield ,Connecticut that formed in 2003. The founding members, Ben and Joe Lionetti met Frank Pamerei and Jesse Ketive on the internet and began rehearsals together. Mark Davis would later join when the original Bass player had to leave as the tour schedule Ben designed was too intense. [1] Some of the members are Queens. To date they have released one full-length LP and just released their sophomore album, The Respect Issue, on May 19, 2008. Their sound has been compared to The Acacia Strain and From a Second Story Window.[2] Emmure is associated with the Long Island band, From the Pawn, and the vocalists of both bands have guest appeared on each other's albums.

They finished a tour in Europe supporting Misery Signals, August Burns Red and Burn Down Rome.[when?] This summer was spent on their headlining tour with Endwell, On Broken Wings, Ligeia, Recon and others.

Jesse Ketive is a former member of the band Warfix, where he played guitar alongside Bryan Goldsman of Southside Panic, Sean Murphy & Mike Kaabe formerly of Endwell.

Rumors that brothers Ben Lionetti (guitar) and Joe Lionetti (drums) have made there rounds on the internet, with the official statement being that the 2 had to leave tour to deal with a family emergency.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
