Enrique Guzmán Vargas es un cantante mexicano nacido en Venezuela, y registrado en la embajada mexicana por sus padres de nacionalidad mexicana los dos. En los años sesenta fue uno de los cantantes más populares de México. Se le promocionaba como «ídolo de la juventud» y uno de los «grandes del rock» (junto con Angélica María, César Costa, Julissa, Johnny Laboriel, Manolo Muñoz y Alberto Vázquez, entre otros).
