Erica Laura García is a singer, guitar player and song writer born in Palermo, Buenos Aires. In 1991 she forms the band "Mata Violeta" together with Karina Tamburini (drums) and Nancy González (bass). "Mata Violeta" splits up in 1995, and Erica launches her solo career. In 1997 she releases her first album, "El Cerebro", produced by Ricardo Mollo (Sumo, Divididos).
However, it is her second record, "La Bestia" the one that made Erica more popular in the argentinian rock scene. Specially, her song "Vete destino" was a hit and helped her get into other markets.
Today she is living in Los Angeles (USA).
