Family Force 5

Family Force 5 (often abbreviated as FF5, formerly known as The Phamily) is a Christian crossover crunk rock band hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Known for their exciting live shows (including a designated dancer and the Keytar), the band has quickly grown in popularity.

Family Force 5 has played at Warped Tour, Creation Festival, Ichthus Music Festival, Alive Festival, and performed on the Underground stage of Cornerstone Festival in July 2006. Family Force 5 has appeared on mtvU's "The Freshman Class", DirecTV's CD USA twice (First performing Love Addict, and the second time, Kountry Gentleman), G4's Attack of the Show!, and CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on 14 July 2006. They were also at the Frizon festival in Sweden 2006! They played their one and only UK gig at NewDay 2006! They are now booked for Christian music festival Parachute 2009 in New Zealand.

Solomon Olds (Soul Glow Activatur), Joshua Olds (Phatty), and Jacob Olds (Crouton), were in a band called "The Brothers" as preteens and opened for Christian acts such as dc Talk, The Newsboys, and Carmen. Their father, Jerome Olds, was a Christian musican in the 1980's and 1990's. Solomon has produced songs for tobyMac and Falling Up.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
