A Farewell Rescue

A Farewell Rescue Farewell Rescue's release "Never Meet Your Heroes" is saccharin gooeyness, like getting your hands sticky in a bag of cotton candy, mixing equal parts sugar and razorblades. The band’s debut on Snapdragon Records is sure to rock your tear-stained face off! Through hard work and sweat, AFR were able to team up with renowned producer and recording engineer Doug White (Gym Class Heroes, Every Time I Die, Psyopus, Sleepaway) at Watchmen Studios to put together an unforgettable album that caught the ears of Snapdragon, Milwaukee 's premier indie rock label. A Farewell Rescue has shared the stage with a variety of genre heavyweights such as: Rise Against, Mae, Four Letter Lie, Junior Varsity, and more. They have been on multiple national tours since the album’s release in July of 2007, enticing ears everywhere. Equipment and clothing companies have been quick to jump on the band’s talent, and have been eager to offer sponsorships. This group of friends is known for their high energy live shows, infectious tunes, and dashing good looks. A Farewell Rescue is determined to climb out of the valleys and into the spotlight.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
