Fiction Plane

Fiction Plane is an alternative rock band from the United Kingdom featuring lead singer, Joe Sumner, son of Gordon Sumner, better known as Sting. They recorded their first demo album called "Swings and Roundabouts" in 2000 & 2001 and released a live album in 2001 as well. This led to them changing their name from Santa's Boyfriend to Fiction Plane (an anagram for Infant Police) in 2002 and recording their first official album, Everything Will Never Be OK, with MCA records. The album was released in 2002 in the United Kingdom and March 2003 in the United States with their single being, "Hate". They subsequently released the EP Bitter Forces and Lame Race Horses on July 11, 2005 and their second studio album Left Side of the Brain on May 22, 2007.

Seton Daunt - guitar,
Pete Wilhoit - drums.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
