Delivering the sounds and sentiments of a defining moment, Flee The Seen grab your heart and attention in an instant. One listen to the raspy yet peacefully harmonious vocals of Kim Anderson, addictive guitar hooks and pounding rhythms from RL Brooks, Manuel Sanchez and Aaron Crawford, and you know you have experienced something genuine and true that will resonate within your heart for years to come.

The four piece took form in December of 2003 with a clear vision and determined work ethic. Writing and self-releasing the “Fighting Chance” EP in late 2003 and the “Sound Of Sirens” EP in October 2004. Flee The Seen quickly conquered their home scene of Kansas City taking home three trophies at the Pitch Awards for Best New Band, Best Punk Bank, and Best Female vocalist. Their honest and passionate blend of rock fueled scream-core has already wooed audiences alongside of bands such as Weezer, Coheed and Cambria, Alkaline Trio, 30 Seconds To Mars, and Cake; all this before ever releasing a full-length album.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
