Halford

Rob Halford (often nicknamed "The Metal God" since the early '90s) is the legendary singer of heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest (1974-1992, 2003-present), best known for his high pitched, falsetto screams.

Halford was the third and final project of Rob's since leaving Judas Priest in 1993 (the other two being Fight (1993-1995) and 2wo (1997-1998)).

The band displayed a superb style of heavy metal which (arguably) Judas Priest should have been producing at the time. Unfortunately the band only released 3 albums and lasted from 2000 through to 2003, breaking up when Rob parted ways and returned to Judas Priest. Judas Priest toured together and released a new album, Angel of Retribution. Now the members of Halford are together again, recording a new album.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
