Harvey Danger is a rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1992, and rose to prominence in 1998 with the single "Flagpole Sitta", from their debut album "Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone?". The band released a new album in 2005, Little by Little..., after the five year hiatus that followed the release of their sophomore album "King James Version". Harvey Danger has a devoted cult following, but is widely considered to be a one-hit wonder due mainly to limited mainstream radio-play and lack of decent record deals. The band is little known in Europe, for the same reasons but also because the band focuses on selling themselves in America (especially Seattle), thus making it very difficult for fans to get albums in Europe. The original drummer Evan Sult moved to Chicago and now drums in the band Bound Stems. He has been replaced by Michael Welke, formerly of the band No. 226.
The single ''Flagpole Sitta'' is also the theme song to the popular British comedy show 'Peep Show'.
They are offering their new album "Little by Little" free of charge on their website. http://harveydanger.com/downloads/
