Formed in 2004 Howlin Rain are Ethan Miller – vocals & guitar, Ian Gradek – bass guitar, Garett Goddard – drums, Mike Jackson – guitar, Eli Eckert – guitar, Joel Robinow – keyboards, guitar, horns & vocals

Howlin Rain's music is often referred to as "groove oriented" rock, sounding like Grateful Dead, Black Oak Arkansas and the Allman Brothers.

This is the second incarnation of the band.

Howlin Rain's roots are in Humboldt County, California. Ethan Miller and Mike Jackson grew up in Eureka.
