Juan Zelada is a folk-rock singer-songwriter and a session musician for bands in the UK. An accomplished piano and guitar player, Juan's songs are deeply influenced by his varied tastes, ranging from jazz greats such as Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea or Pat Metheny to pop figures like Paul Simon, Dave Matthews or Ben Folds Five.
Juan is truly a global artist and his music reflects this cultural and linguistic diversity. Originally from Spain, Juan currently lives in London after spells in Hong Kong, Liverpool and Madrid. His songs are a rare mixture of intricate chord progressions, uplifting melodies and impressionist lyrics that merge with the music to create a mellow and sophisticated sound.
Always in company of great musicians, Juan's live act is not the usual songwriter's show with funky beats and rock riffs mixing with folk and soulful ballads.
