Justin Moore

Justin Moore (born in Poyen, Arkansas) is an American country music singer. Signed to the Valory Music Group in 2008, Moore charted that year with his single "Back That Thing Up", a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Following it is "Small Town USA" which has charted as well. Both singles are included on his self-titled debut album. 

Career.
Justin Moore was born in Poyen, Arkansas. After graduating high school, he decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. to pursue a country music career. Moore worked with songwriter Jeremy Stover to record demo tapes, and was eventually discovered by record producer Keith Stegall. Moore is married to his wife Kate, she is featured in his music video of "Small Town USA".
In mid-2008, Moore signed to the Valory label, an imprint of Big Machine Records, and released a digital single "I Could Kick Your Ass". His first single, "Back That Thing Up", was released in mid-2008 and debuted at #55 on the Hot Country Songs charts in August 2008. After this song came "Small Town USA", which has reached Top 10 on the country charts, and has crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100 as well.
Moore's album is part of a special promotion called "So You Want to Be a Record Label Executive." This promotion has placed Moore's music on social networking sites such as MySpace and iLike, where fans are allowed to create playlists comprising ten of his songs, and the top ten songs that are picked will be included on Moore's album. His self-titled debut album was released via Big Machine's sister label, Valory Music Group, on August 11, 2009.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
