Katmandu

Katmandu was formed in Los Angeles by Mandy Meyer and Dave King and completed by the powerful rythm section consisting of Caine Carruthers (bass) and Mike Alonso (drums). A major label album including the singles "the way you make me feel" and "when the rain comes" was released by Epic.

Despite being successful in many countries including Japan Katmandu only released one record. Now Katmandu is back! Mandy Meyer (Asia, Cobra, Krokus, Gotthard), Pat Aeby (Krokus) and Tony Castell (Krokus) decided to join forces in order to re-perform the band's repertoire from the early 90's on stage again as well as to write new songs tying in with the band's previous success. And this might only be a matter of time given the singer who recently completed the formation.

The official announcement will follow soon. So stay tuned and check this website again!

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
