Mýa

See Mýa.

Mýa Marie Harrison (born October 10, 1979), professionally known as Mýa or Mýa Harrison, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, actress, record producer, dancer, choreographer, and model.

Mýa first burst onto the scene at a young age. Appearing with Pras on Ghetto Superstar(so catchy). And her 1st solo self titled album in 1998. Standout tracks from that album are lead track Whatcha say, and anytime you want me. Although it wasnt until 2000 Mýa became a household name with Case of the ex, and her 2nd album, fear of flying. Her third album Moodring 2003 is by far her best work. Can honestly listen to the thing from track one to 16th bonus track. Standout tracks tho are Fallen, Hurry up, Things come and go, the Aaliyah inspired tribute song After the rain, and the campy Whatever btch. Taking time off from music to be in movies such as Chicago, Shall we dance, and Cursed(although not lead by any means) Ms. Harrison has proved she is serious. Her Comeback to the music scene in 2008 was somehow thwarted by record company politics. the album 'Liberation' never saw the light of day, although you may find it on the net somewhere. It did spawn 3 singles with Ridin, Lock you down, and Ayo, tho none did comercially well due to lack of faith from promoters.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
