Marco Mengoni was born in Ronciglione, the Christmas's day of 1988. He partecipated to the third edition of Italian X-Factor and won it..After his win he released his first EPcalled “Dove si vola” (“where you fly” ), including 2 new songs and 5 covers (2 of them in english: "Psycho killer" and "Man in the mirror"). This CD in Italy sold 70.000 copies and more, and went platinum.
This february Marco won third place in the sixtieth edition of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song Credimi ancora (in english Believe Me Again) and released a new minialbum, titled "Re Matto".
