Raina Bauman was raised in a town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by a Mom who loved country music. Since then, music has become a passion in Raina's life. She started out her career as a songwriter, first coming to Nashville during her breaks from the University of Pittsburgh. She was encouraged to also become a singer by the people who heard her singing on her demos. After hearing her sing, one of the questions Raina often gets is "where are you from?" Her voice definitely sounds Dixie.
Also being a sassy redhead lends itself to her music as can clearly be heard in the kick butt song "Harley Man," and the rockin song "Wrong About That." She can also write and sing heart songs such as "Today Is The Day," and "Hard For You To Believe."
In 2009 a friend in the music business gave her demos to the top notch producer Biff Watson who produced Aaron Tippin's "Kiss This" Biff definitely liked what he heard and is now producing her CD. Raina's song "Harley Man" was made into a kick butt video by Dallas Henry who directed Craig Morgan's "International Harvester" video. Anyone who watches this awesome video and hears this pretty lady sing will likely agree that Raina does stand out in a crowd.
