Samantha Jade is a 19 years old Australian R&B / Pop singer. She's signed to Jive Records, most known for the title song for the movie "Step Up" (2006). Her label CEO John Harris hyped the young phenom discovered in the city of Perth, Western Australia, being compared to Christina Aguilera and Whitney Houston. "She is the best raw talent that we have found," Harris said of Affinity West Records. Her debut album was released in 2007, with the singles "Step Up" and "Turn Around".
