Shannon Curfman (b. Fargo, North Dakota, July 31, 1985) is an American blues-rock guitarist and singer. She came to prominence in 1999, at the age of 14, with the release of her first album, Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions, which she recorded a year earlier. Even at that time, her deep, robust voice and virtuoso electric guitar playing surprised many listeners, who found it difficult to believe that they were listening to a performer in her teens, rather than her twenties or thirties.
After a prolonged absence from recording, Shannon self-released a five-song EP entitled Take It Like A Man in July of 2006.
A full-length album "Fast Lane Addiction" was released late in 2007, showing her guitar playing, songwriting and vocals have matured yet still retain their power and edge.
