They started out with a self-titled album of nothing but punk, but the Slammin' Watusis began to add a few more musical textures—blues-rock, power pop, even a glimpse of heavy metal—by the time of 1989's Kings of Noise. It was their last album, however, though bassist Clay Tomasek turned up in Green two years later.
