Kwasi Danquah (born June 10, 1987), better known by his stage name Tinchy Stryder, is a British grime music artist of Ghanaian origin. Stryder hails from Bow in East London. Tinchy's debut album Catch 22 was released on 17th August 2009, and contained UK number ones: "Number 1", featuring N-Dubz) and "Never Leave You", featuring Amelle Berrabah of the Sugababes.
Stryder started at the age of 13 on pirate radio sets in East London with other well known grime MCs such as Dizzee Rascal. His stage name was derived from the video game, Strider, a video game he grew up with.
