Wild Sweet Orange is an indie/alternative rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. In early 2008 their song "Land of No Return" was featured on Grey's Anatomy. The band performed the song "Ten Dead Dogs" live on the Late Night with David Letterman on June 23, 2008. Their first full LP, We Have Cause to Be Uneasy, was released on July 29, 2008. Wild Sweet Orange has opened for bands such as Guster, Augustana, and Gringo Star.
According to members of the band, Wild Sweet Orange will be going on hiatus for an unknown period of time (including touring and presumably recording). However, lead vocalist Preston Lovinggood has hinted that the band might still record music together in the future. Until then, they will be sorely missed by their fans, especially those who have known and supported the band since their first days.
