XTREME is the self-titled debut of New York City's hottest Bachata sensation. This album is released by SGZ Entertainment, owned by George Zamora and Sergio George, producer for hitmakers Marc Anthony, La India, Tito Nieves and more. The album is distributed by Sony Discos. The CD was recorded in studios in New York and Dominican Republic. The 11 track CD features the original compositions and soulful vocal styling of Danny "D" Mejia, and Steve "Styles" Tejada, two young New York Dominicans with a passion for both the "tipico" sounds of their Motherland, as well as the contemporary R&B they grew up listening to on the streets of Manhattan. Their gift for composition and interpretation reveals a musical maturity beyond their years. XTREME The CD also features a special guest appearance by Salsa icon Tito Nieves on " Me Cambiaste La Vida". Tito's velvety smooth vocal delivery blends in perfectly with Danny & Steve.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
