Krankit Records recording artist Anthony Smith is set to release his new single, “Love Is Love Is Love,” from his upcoming album, Sunshine, to radio on April 26, 2010. This song marks Smith’s debut single from the album and the first since launching his own record label, Krankit Records, earlier this year.
“Love Is Love Is Love,” written and produced by Smith and Eric Silver, is a feel-good, yet heart-felt tune that makes you want to enjoy life with a care-free attitude. “This song makes me smile. That is the bottom line. Actually, I decided that I wanted to shoot the video in the Bahamas and we did. Can’t wait for everyone to see it! It is fun, it is colorful, and it makes you want to feel good about life,” says Smith.
Anthony is honored to be a part of several weekend events surrounding the ACM Awards in Las Vegas, NV April 17-18. Smith will be participating in the ACM Chairman’s Motorcycle Ride on Saturday April 17th. The invitation-only event allows artists and industry VIPs to experience a scenic ride through the gorgeous Nevada landscape all while supporting a great cause. ACM/The Home Depot Humanitarian Award honorees of 2010, Montgomery Gentry, will host the ride for the 6th time this year. The event benefits ACM Lifting Lives. Smith will also be performing at the USO Concert in Partnership with ACM Lifting LivesTM later in the evening along with Montgomery Gentry and Randy Houser. ACM Lifting Lives (the Academy's charitable arm) is partnering with the USO to bring a free, private concert to the service men and women of Nellis Air Force Base just outside of Las Vegas, NV. The event will be open to all military ID holders and media credentialed specifically for this event.
Anthony’s upcoming studio album, Sunshine, has been dubbed by some as “Country Music’s most anticipated sophomore album.” It is Smith’s first album after the launch of his own record label, Krankit Records. The album is co-produced by Smith and Bobby Terry. James Stroud co-produced with Smith on “Bringin’ Back The Sunshine” while Smith co-produced “Love Is Love Is Love” with Eric Silver.
Anthony’s debut album, If That Ain't Country, was one of the most critically acclaimed country albums of the new millennium. The Mercury Records release included three Top 40 hits and won over a broader group of fans everywhere Smith performed or where his songs were played.
To add to his list of accomplishments, Anthony has also written several hit country songs. Some of his biggest hits include George Strait's "Run" and "Cowboys Like Us," Trace Adkins' "Chrome" and "I'm Tryin'," Tim McGraw's "Kill Myself" and "Kristofferson," Rascal Flatts' "My Worst Fear" and Montgomery Gentry's "What Do Ya Think About That?," as well as memorable cuts by Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Gretchen Wilson, Wynonna, Trisha Yearwood and many others.
