Katalyst Continues To Reach New Height

Nashville, TN - October 28, 2010 - Praise and Worship band, Katalyst, continues to reach new highs in their career. The group's crossover hit is taking the Inspirational Country charts by storm. They have a new album coming out soon, with several of the cuts co-written with famed musician and songwriter, David Hodges. And, they were in the Top 5 Category for Inspirational Country Music (ICM) Vocal Group Of The Year this year.

"You're Here" debuted on the Power Source Christian Country chart at number 76 for the month of November. The tune was written by band members Will Boreing and Ryan Garza along with Teel Merrick. On October 14th, the group attended the ICM Awards where they were a top 5 contender for Vocal Group Of The Year. The award was won by CrossCountry the Band.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
