J.VIEWZ UNVEIL MUSIC VIDEO FOR "BUILDING A HOME"

NEW ALBUM rivers and homes. OUT NOW
RECORD RELEASE SHOW IN NYC FRIDAY 11/4 AT THE STUDIO

J.Viewz presents the music video for the song "building a home" the latest single off of rivers and homes., an album that "deftly evades categorization," (NPR World Café) and "for all its varied influences," is a "cohesive work that showcases the talents of Israeli-born producer-composer , Jonathan Dagan" (Wall Street Journal) the man behind the music.

For anybody looking to escape the recent early onset of winter weather, "building a home" provides an excellent option. "The drums soak up the island rays," write AOL Spinner, while "synths squish and dissipate like sand through a sunbather's hands."

According to Dagan, "building a home" was the last track completed for the album rivers and homes. The video was directed and put together by his friend Yair Cohen, the graphic designer responsible for coloring the popular video for the single "Salty Air".

This month J.Viewz will formally celebrate the release of rivers and homes. with a home town show Friday November 4th at The Studio at Webster Hall in NYC, and a gig November 10th at Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, DC. As each track on rivers and homes. sees Dagan pulling together a different cast of players and vocalists to join him, this has left some wondering what the project might look like live. Below is a live video of Dagan and band performing the song "Waffles", showcasing the live band's versatility.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
