Vancouver-based Yukon Blonde have debuted a brand new track "Choices" with MTVHive off their Fire//Water EP via Dine Alone Records (Tokyo Police Club, Neon Indian). Frontman Jeffrey Innes admits, "'Choices' started out as a goofy studio experiment that we thought we'd never release and turned out to be our favorite song on our Fire//Water EP." Last week Yukon Blonde revealed details on "Stairway," the first single to be taken from their forthcoming spring 2012 LP set for a January 31st release on Itunes and 7" vinyl. Currently wrapping up a 62 date North American tour, the band prepares to embark on an extensive 2012 worldwide tour including scheduled appearances at SXSW '12.

Yukon Blonde's first single "Fire" was recently featured on an episode of the ABC show Revenge shortly after the the TV show How I Met Your Mother made a reference to the group. Stream "Fire" and "Water," the second single from the EP at SoundCloud. Last fall the the young B.C. band embarked on a 30+ date tour supporting Good Old War, as well as several headlining runs down each coast. Performing at Milwaukee Summerfest with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros this summer, the last year and a half has seen them rack up nonstop tour mileage both in North America and Europe, including festivals such as SXSW, CMJ and Popkomm Festival in Berlin along the way.
