Praise For Suck It and See

“…four albums in, and they've hit a remarkable mid-career groove that most bands their age will never see.” - Spin

“…this is the bands best since its 2006 debut…” – Rolling Stone

“‘Suck It And See’ finds the Arctic Monkeys especially comfortable in their maturing skin, able to deliver the charisma and hooks that intrigued folks in the first place….a solid collection of smart (alec) rock ‘n’ roll, one that gets better with repeat listens.” - Stereogum

“….imminently danceable, cutting postpunk with a healthy dose of post-adolescent ennui. Alex Turner’s vocals are rich and round, lending his bandmates’s bluster a certain gravity” – New York Times

“Alex Turner may have fine-tuned his croon, his lyrics are as smart, sneering and sweet as ever” – Elle

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
