CHARLATANS AT THE GARDEN GATE EARNS HONORS AS NASHVILLE SCENE'S TOP LOCAL ALBUM OF 2011

PERFORMING AT SXSW 2012

Fresh off winning honors as the Nashville Scene's #1 Local Release of 2011, and being labeled one of American Songwriters Top 50 Albums of the year, Tristen is excited to announce upcoming spring 2012 tour dates with Justin Townes Earle and Minus The Bear. The shows will see Tristen playing some of the biggest stages and largest crowds of her career yet. This March Tristen will play SXSW 2012, unveiling some of the new material from her forthcoming full-length.

Since the release of Charlatans At The Garden Gate, Tristen has been on tour non-stop, playing clubs and making festival appearances including her Bonnaroo debut, where she was named by Spin and American Songwriter as an "Artist To Watch" at the festival. 2011 was an incredibly successful year for the young musician as she saw her fan base grow in spades, and her album met with wide ranging critical praise from a broad range of sources including NPR, Rolling Stone, Paste, KCRW, World Café, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune and more.

Tristen is eagerly anticipating the coming year as she prepares for the upcoming tour dates and the release of her next full-length album, due out this summer. She is currently putting the final touches on the record, working with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit, M. Ward) at his studio in Omaha, NE.
