Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas are set to criss-cross North America this summer on a nationwide tour eventually taking them to over 50 cities. It has been several years since Alison Krauss along with Union Station band members Dan Tyminski (guitar, mandolin and lead vocals), Barry Bales (bass and harmony vocals), Ron Block (banjo, guitar and harmony vocals), and Jerry Douglas (Dobro and harmony vocals) toured together. Their last go around saw raves from critics who witnessed “Krauss and Union Station induce awe with their musical virtuosity...pangs of heartache with their ballads of disillusionment and, most significantly, the giddiness that results from hearing a familiar tune played well."
