Earlier this year 21-year old English troubadour Laura Marling picked up the BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist, which was quickly followed by the NME Award for Best Solo Artist. Her third album A Creature I Don’t Know will be released on Ribbon Music on September 13th and is already garnering the most enthusiastic reviews of her career.
The first track from this eagerly anticipated new album comes in the form of “Sophia”, a mesmeric song in two distinct parts so artfully combined that it begs repeat listens with a musical moreish-ness.
