Nashville, TN (September 27, 2010) -- Mark Wayne Glasmire's newest single release is "Now I Believe," which hits the desk of radio programmers via the New Christian Music Compilation #76 this week. "It's a story about God answering our prayers," says Glasmire, who wrote the song with longtime pal, Lucas P. Gravell. "There's no mystery here; no hidden agenda. Just a tale about the miracle of love."

Glasmire's two previous singles were mainstream country radio hits in the U.S. and on the international Country HotDisc compilation. "You Opened My Eyes" held the #1 spot on the Country HotDisc Chart for a total of four weeks, and "Everything Is Gonna Be Alright" is still receiving spins around the globe.

Mark recently enjoyed high-profile performances at Merlefest (where he took the Grand Prize for "You Opened My Eyes" in the Country Song division of the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest), and at the 2010 Wildflower Songwriting Contest (Texas). Earlier this summer, Glasmire entertained the crowd at the Kerrville Folk Festival, and he is now taking calls and emails from European promoters, coordinating his first overseas tour.

‘Music City 411- Robin Gibb Tribute

By: Andrew Vaughan

It’s truly heartbreaking to see the pain Robin Gibb’s family is going through right now. The Bee Gees singer is in a coma after suffering with liver cancer and most recently pneumonia. Of course, several big name pop acts have passed away recently- Davy Jones of The Monkees probably the most recent. Now I knew Davy to talk to but I’d never met his family. Which is why hearing about the Gibb family’s pain surrounding Robin is so difficult to handle.
