Welcome to SoundEmerge

Welcome to "SoundEmerge," American Music Channel’s Social Networking Community for both the music industry and music lovers alike.

SoundEmerge is a revolutionary social networking community that American Music Channel has created as a connection point for music fans, a platform for artists and songwriters to advance and develop their careers, and a deep well of information to assist the industry professional with networking, developing alliances, and promoting their craft, at a unique and all-encompassing location.

SoundEmerge is creating a social environment where the next #1 song and emerging star can come to light and flourish.

SoundEmerge’s vision and intent is to offer the independent and emerging artist the same level of exposure that (to date) only those lucky few artists with major label record deals enjoy. And in doing so, SoundEmerge provides fans of all music genres a single destination for all the music they want to listen to and enjoy.

Basic free membership in the SoundEmerge Social Networking Community offers all artists and songwriters the ability to come on board, set up a profile, upload music, videos, photos, etc. and have interaction with their fans.

A variety of SoundEmerge Social Networking Community subscription levels are also offered to enhance what is already available to the fan, artist, songwriter, and industry professional.

The "Fan" subscription level offers the fan an enhanced experience including a 20 video playlist, special exclusive content that would otherwise be pay-per-view, the ability to rate artists’ and songwriters’ songs, store discounts, and pre-sale alerts on concert tickets.

The "Artist" subscription level provides artists with a wealth of tools with which to promote their careers and assist them in being self-successful: MP3 download sales, music video download sales, store discounts, educational video discounts, rewards for driving traffic to your profile including a pack of guitar strings and a brick of drumsticks, and press release information posted to our news site.

The "Songwriter" subscription level provides the songwriter with the ability to upload a maximum of 10 songs and select a 30-second clip of each song, along with an image and a three-sentence description, to be pitched not only to the music industry but also to film and television industries as well. Additional perks include store discounts, educational video discounts, and press release information posted to our news site.

The "Industry Professional" subscription level offers the industry professional with the ability to promote their craft and connect with the emerging artists, songwriters, and other industry specialists: store discounts, educational video discounts, and press release information posted to our news site.

SoundEmerge, American Music Channel’s Social Networking Community, offers a platform for artists and songwriters to make themselves known, to bring with them their fan base, and to have opportunities to advance themselves on the site, and subsequently in the music world.

SoundEmerge subscriptions provide artists, songwriters, and industry professionals with enhanced tools with which to reach out and "spin a web of success."

SoundEmerge has woven the concept of a music community of common values and shared interests without geographical limitation, thus creating a single destination location where the tools for success reside.

Asking a band not to drink free drinks is like asking a pig to learn to fly.

I think #6. Inappropriate or lack of follow-up- is the most...

American Music Channel is “Giving Back” through creating philanthropic campaigns that align charitable organizations and artists to make a difference in our world.

By: Andrew Vaughan

Everyone comes to Nashville at some point and I was recently honored to sit down for brunch with May Pang. Beatles fans will all know that May lived with John Lennon during the mid-‘70s. Naturally, this gracious firecracker of a woman had some great tales to tell, and I was able to pick her brains about one of her good friends Harry Nilsson. Nilsson enjoyed massive commercial success with two huge hits in the ‘70s: “Everybody’s Talkin’” and “Without You”. He had even more fame as John Lennon’s drinking buddy in LA in the mid-‘70s. There’s not a rock and roller from that time that doesn’t have a good word to say about Nilsson. He was larger than life, the ultimate party animal, generous to a fault, and loved by all who knew him.
