When I was creating this song I wanted to celebrate all Dads and incorporate my own special moments along with my friends memories and why they are a Daddys Girl. My favorite memory for me was going storm chasing with my dad and not telling mom. My Dad and I still to this today spend hours playing music. The sound of this song was important to me. When we were driving to Portland, TN to shoot the scenes. My mom was riding in Lucas Ciliberti vintage car which was going to be used in one of the scenes but halfway to Portland the car engine blow leaving them stranded on the road. We had to send a crew member to set with the car until the tow trunk came which was 4 hours later.
