http://www.peridotband.com – "We marry folk songs with pop melodies, drawing inspiration from elusive emotions that we all feel, but often struggle to articulate. They’re subtle and powerful and they aren’t easily described by familiar words like “love” and “heartbreak.” Most of the time, they are more complicated than that. Peridot is an exploration of universal emotional hues, and we hope every song is a fingerprint."

http://www.jakeclayton.com - “I’m having the time of my life. I have a love affair with music, but being able to entertain people is what I get out of it.”

So says Country artist Jake Clayton, the gifted singer, thought-provoking songwriter and talented multi-instrumentalist who is attracting the attention of Country fans and radio programmers everywhere with his hot new single, “What Not to Do.” Jake is the rare artist who is able to enthrall a packed house with not just his vocals, songs and showmanship, but with his amazing instrumental ability as well. Playing over 20 instruments as an in-demand Nashville session musician, he is now stepping out on his own to take his place among the greats of Country music. “What Not to Do,” a song about the consequences of poor decision-making from his album By the Light of the Moon, is an uptempo, guitar-and-fiddle-driven romp that brings Charlie Daniels to mind. But Jake’s highly-recognizable tenor is all his own, inviting comparisons to Garth Brooks, The Eagles and Tim McGraw.

A native of rural Mexico, Missouri, Jake was raised by musical parents who sang professionally in the area. He was given his late grandfather’s fiddle – which he still plays to this day – when he was 13. But he wasn’t able to stop there, soon taking up just about any instrument with strings or keys, including banjo, organ, pedal steel guitar and more, while developing his singing and stage chops. “I learned about playing music by watching VHS tapes of concerts that really captivated me, like Garth’s show in Central Park,” he recalls. “But most importantly, they showed me how an artist entertains an audience.”

As he learned every instrument in sight, Jake also began to understand the importance of delivering captivating vocals and crafting a good song. “The Dixie Chicks picked great, but their songs and their harmonies were powerful, too,” he remembers. “That’s when I started to take singing and songwriting more seriously.”

At 17 Jake was fronting his own shows. “I actually had my own theater in Missouri for a couple years, an old restaurant we converted into a venue where I could perform,” he recalls fondly. “I was doing mostly classic Country for older people who understood and loved music, which was great. Because of my age I really didn’t do bar gigs much. Then I took a fill-in job playing fiddle with The Oak Ridge Boys at 19 and moved to Nashville when I was 20.”

Jake has since been a utility man in the live bands of Tanya Tucker, Collin Raye, Jimmy Wayne, Joey & Rory and Jamie O’Neal, and travelled for several years with singer Sunny Sweeney on two major tours. And in 2015, Sweeney enlisted Jake and his own band to support her on Miranda Lambert’s 2015 Certified Platinum Tour. Opportunities like this have made it possible for him to be part of opening slots with such Country music headliners as Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, George Strait, and many more.

As an in-demand studio musician, Jake’s credits include playing violin and cello on Thompson Square’s #1 single, “If I Didn’t Have You,” and playing fiddle, dobro and lap steel on Sunny Sweeney’s critically acclaimed album, Provoked. He was the featured dobro player on Joey & Rory’s Inspired DVD and TV special, and he recorded and co-produced the theme song for The Sportsman Channel’s Legacy Trails TV. Jake also recorded an acclaimed instrumental album, Barnyard Stomp, which was distributed by Rock guitar legend Steve Vai’s Favored Nations label.

As a solo artist, Jake has opened for Charlie Daniels, Jon Pardi, and Jerrod Niemann. He’s seen his childhood dreams come true as he’s graced the stages of Madison Square Garden, The Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame and other legendary venues.

Jake is a natural singer, with a distinctive voice that is right at home on today’s Country radio. “My vocals are one of the reasons I get hired to work with other artists, besides the fact that I play so many instruments,” the gregarious artist says. “I’ve been influenced by the best. I could listen to Don Henley sing the phone book, and Garth, of course, really knows how to deliver a lyric. I love Collin Raye, and Jared Leto from the band 30 Seconds to Mars. And I learned so much from being on the road with Tanya about how to do things inside a melody, and how to connect with people.”

Every song on By the Light of the Moon was written or co-written by Jake, whose songwriting heroes include some of the legends of Country as well as today’s most successful young writers. “I’m a fan of Kacey Musgraves’ writing, and I really love Sunny’s writing,” he says. “I think Bob DiPiero (David Nail, Martina McBride) is one of the greats. I love Tom T. Hall. And you can’t beat Marty Robbins, who was the pinnacle of what an artist and writer should be.”

Jake and his band play about 50 shows a year right now, and he looks to do more with the success of his new single. “We play all over the country and have been received really well everywhere we go,” he says. “While I still play for other artists, I see myself doing less and less of that in the future, because my main goal is to continue to release my own music and to give people a show they won’t forget. We’re all about the music and getting it out to the fans.”

Http://www.matthewhuman.com - Rooted in the best of country music traditions, Matthew Human’s music is about the simple life, and what’s truly important – healthy food, clean air and water, true love, and community. It’s that kind of hippie country rock that you probably haven’t heard since the early days of the Eagles.
From 2003 to 2012 Human toured with his country-rock dance band, “The Human Revolution” which became one of the best-loved acts on the West Coast festival circuit.
His 2007 award-winning pro-hemp video “Tree of Life” garnered over 600,000 views on social media. In 2009 he opened for Willie Nelson’s Labor Day show, and he has led three US-based tours in support of GMO labeling initiatives, including a 315-mile march from Brooklyn NY to Washington DC culminating outside the White House on International Food Day in 2011. He is also the Global Music Ambassador for Food For Life Global, the largest vegetarian food relief program in the world.
In 2014 Matthew Human joined an elite group of compassion-driven artists when he performed for the inmates at Folsom Prison in northern California.
For his eighth studio album, a pop-country project that breaks musical barriers and brings fresh new energy to the country world, Matthew Human returns to his Nashville, Tennessee roots. Human currently divides his time between touring and Costa Rica, where he has built a simple home and grows food on 80 acres of cooperatively owned land.

http://www.leskerr.com - Les Kerr is a songwriter, recording artist and performer who brings blues, Rockabilly, New Orleans music, Zydeco, and bluegrass together to create his “Hillbilly Blues Caribbean Rock & Roll.” Now based in Nashville, Kerr was born in Louisiana and raised in Mississippi in the Gulf Coast city of Pascagoula and in Jackson.

Contributor, the song, is written from the perspective of the men and women who offer The Contributor, a throughout the Nashville area and beyond. The Contributor is a weekly newspaper sold around Middle Tennessee, that provides homeless and formerly homeless vendors a source of income. While creating community between vendors and customers, the newspaper offers a diversity of perspectives and information relating to homelessness. Creative content including poetry, often written by the vendors, also provides a glimpse into day to day homeless life. Vendor profiles illustrate how people can end up on the streets and how hard it is to return to housing. Many who sell the newspaper are shown in the video, as is the press where the paper is manufactured. In addition, Wagner’s artwork depicting vendors is included throughout the video.

“It was a treat to see this song come to life,” said Kerr, a Nashville songwriter and long-time Contributor customer. “As a songwriter, I tried to put myself in the position of a vendor who knows his customers may or may not care how he ended up on the street but are willing to help him by purchasing the paper. In addition, the idea that those who buy the paper are also ‘contributors’ in the process is important to me. It takes both vendors and readers to make the process work.

Kerr began writing the song in 2011 and completed it in 2014. He was inspired by the spirit of the vendors and their desire to get them off the street. The lyrics begin, “I’m standing on this corner; I stand here every day. Selling these newspapers to the people on their way.” The song’s chorus declares, “I’m just a small contributor; a spoke in a bigger wheel. When you buy my papers, we’re both part of a bigger deal…that makes us both contributors to the world we’d like to see.”

It is Kerr’s hope that the video and the song will bring attention to The Contributor and street newspapers around the country.

http://www.jasonterrymusic.com - Jason remembers getting his first guitar when he was five years old. He didn’t know the chords to songs he wanted to play, so he just made them up and played and sang to anyone who would listen. “My mom always told me that she supported me 100%. I was sold from the first applause.” Living in East Tennessee in the small town of Oneida, music was a regular part of his life. When Jason found he could easily express his emotions through writing and singing, he pursued his dream of sharing his deep feelings with others through music.

Growing up as an only child, his good memories are of having fun in the woods and playing his guitar, drums, and baseball. A favorite memory is getting up early in the summer and going fishing with his grandfather. In contrast Jason faced some dark times in his life when he was on the rocky road of addiction and came close to taking his own life. “I struggled and battled alcohol addiction for several years. On September 20, 2013, I found myself in a desolate field with a loaded pistol in my hand ready to end my life. I received a text from my mom that stated, ‘Maybe you should change your ways.’ At that point I dropped the pistol and asked God to take away all the pain and show me how to get out of the deep depression I was in. Later that day, I checked into a treatment facility where I began to rediscover who God made me to be.” Standing beside him through the good and bad, his parents have made a big impression on his life.

During his stay at a treatment facility, Jason began writing songs that related to his experience with addiction and depression. He later released in EP in 2014 entitled, “Letting Go” which shared his inner-most secrets and struggles.

Aside from writing music, Jason likes being outdoors in the middle of nowhere by the water. He says, “There is no better way to escape the chaos of the day-to-day life.” “I want my music to be a way for people to relate to what I have felt and gone through.”

On stage Jason is not much different than he is in day-to-day life, usually wearing jeans, a button down shirt, a baseball cap and boots. While he continues to enjoy giving a high-energy performance with his band, his favorite thing is to get an acoustic guitar in his hand and share his story. Jason likes to think of fans as family. “I open my heart to them and hopefully one day we can sit down and they can share their hearts with me. I feel that is what music is all about —bringing people together.”

Currently, Jason is getting back to his country roots with his first major radio release entitled “Green Light Go”. The single brings a seductive edge to the modern country sound. It is sure to leave you captivated from the opening line, assuring you that you “don’t have to take it slow”.

http://www.chrischitseymusic.com- Native Texan, Chris Chitsey, made a name for himself on the competitive, Texas honky-tonk circuit before graduating to success on a national level over a decade ago. His smooth, evocative voice and energetic stage presence quickly established Chitsey as one of the latest Texas exports to find national acclaim. His self-titled debut album had three songs hit the national charts, including "At A Time Like This," "John Wayne Rides Again" and "With a Body Like That," which held 18 weeks on the CMT and GAC Top 10 Countdown.

The talented Texan has teamed with acclaimed producer D. Scott Miller to record "Superstitious Heart," which is the rockin' follow-up to his #1 hit single "Lonely In Tucson."

Whether on stage or in the recording studio, Chitsey exudes his passion and dedication to the country music industry. It's that kind of dedicated work ethic, combined with God given talent, that has made Chitsey a timeless success.

sarahdunnband.com There is nothing that is typical about the Sarah Dunn Band. The lead singer and namesake for the band admits that from her birth, childhood and now her music career everything has been a little bit different – compared to most of her generation.
The band has just released their second single, “Bye-Bye” which follows the success of the single, “You or The Whiskey,” which is also the title of their debut album. Take a listen to the record, and once again – there is nothing typical about it. Dunn belts out her music with a passion and a depth that goes far beyond her years.

www.soulcircuscowboys.com - Soul Circus Cowboys’ new single, “Gotta Get Me One Of Them,” penned by Nashville hit-writing royalty Craig Wiseman and Jim Collins, is an over the top, rockin’ southern anthem
to almost everything in life that is dear to a country boys dreams; hot cars, hotter chicks and hard
drivin’ music with smokin’ guitars….

When the sum total is greater than the individual parts, it’s called “synergy” or in this case, “The
Soul Circus Cowboys.” Their diverse life experiences and eclectic blend of musical styles
combine to create a truly unique new band with a sound that is all their own.

“Tailgate Country” is more than just the title of their forthcoming new album, it defines their
“outside the box” and “push the envelope” attitude to bring you a completely new edge to modern
rockin’ country. By taking the boundaries of “Bro Country” to the limits, mixing in their own
spin on southern rock, boatloads of rowdy energy and a touch of traditional country, Soul Circus
Cowboys have defined their own genre which their fans have come to call “Tailgate Country.”
This album is “all killer and no filler,” combining tracks produced by three of Nashville’s
greatest producers/songsmiths, Henry Paul, Frank Meyers and Ray Barnette.

Soul Circus Cowboys are four extremely talented individuals, Billy McKnight; vocals, band
leader and songwriter, Jason Alfano; drummer, Michael Bach; bass, vocals and Rick Morgan
on guitar. These guys are as authentic as genuine leather and twice as tough. Collectively Soul
Circus Cowboys have seen more road and travelled more country than the chrome bumper on a
freight haulin’ eighteen wheeler… All this “livin’ has honed their talents to “craft” this incredible
band that can more than deliver on record and in concert.

See these guys perform live if you have to “sell the farm,” but be prepared, Soul Circus
Cowboys are ridin’ at you hard with all four barrels and instruments blazin’…

"We had Soul Circus Cowboys on the show this morning and I’m telling ya… they ROCKED the
house!. Billy McKnight and the gang are pros yet good ol boys in the same breath."
—Mitch English, The Daily Buzz

http://www.juniorgordonband.com- It use to be that when you said your hometown was Alvin, Texas, everyone thought of a certain… very famous and fantastic baseball player. Now, there is another name associated with the town where talent abounds.
The Junior Gordon Band began its trek to the top in music in Alvin, but the group is now seeing their fan base expand, and their latest Album, “BIG” is making a (dare we say it?) BIG impact on country music. Alvin and many of its surrounding neighbors know and love the sound of The Junior Gordon Band, but now talk is spreading across the state of Texas, and it can only grow from there!
In the last three years, they have been blazing through and burning up every stage they set foot on. People just simply love the talent, music and message of the band.
In April 2013, The Junior Gordon Band was nominated by The Houston Press for Best Band of the Year; Best Local Video of the Year and Junior himself was nominated for both the Local Musician of the Year and Best Male Vocalist! Now, that is sheer talent! The selection process is tough, and with so much talent in Houston and across Texas, but being considered for not only one, but THREE awards is an amazing thing!
The Band has a distinctive sound that makes crowds love them. The Junior Gordon Band’s heartfelt, soulful lyrics leave listeners with a menagerie of emotions from one song to the next. From the love of music that would be sacrificially ditched in a heartbeat for the love of a woman in “This Old Guitar” to good ole boy flirtation in “Country Lovin” to passion in “Even If It Kills Me” and “I’d Find You”, listeners can speculate that Junior clearly has a muse that has captivated his heart.
When Junior sings, he sometimes gets so wrapped up in the music that he can actually make up words, causing sometimes romantic, sometimes humorous country songs, or even a mix of country and rap…something he calls “C-RAP”. Thanks to a really talented group of musicians who can keep up with the lead singer, they never miss a beat. They just have a stage presence that leaves fans with an ear-to-ear grin at the end of the night.
Attending one of the Junior Gordon shows will never leave you bored; just enjoying talented musicians, and funny, unexpected events that leave you laughing while Junior runs through the place!
There’s plenty of high energy on stage. When Junior gets after it, he is known to jump off stage, and even on top of bars and banisters.
Their music is what they live for, what they bring to you for entertainment and what they want you to hear and enjoy even after you leave. That’s why you will head to the store to get your own copy of “BIG”.
The Junior Gordon Band isn’t all lovin’ and leavin’ and it’s evident in their spunky, playful beer drinking song “Good Friend of Mine,” and their downhome “County Fair.” The band takes the beautiful things life has to offer, right at our fingertips, and expresses those thoughts and feelings in songs about everyday life; songs that make you pause and think about life’s precious gifts, songs that are relatable on all levels, songs that make you turn the car around, head home, hug the wife and kids and take that vacation you’ve been putting off.
Junior loves entertaining and genuinely enjoys what he does. He wants families, just like his own, to enjoy his music, enjoy the show and want to hear more and look forward to the next time he will have an opportunity to come back.
You see, family is a big part of The Junior Gordon Band. You will notice it in their pre-performance group prayer and down time as well.
Get to know The Junior Gordon Band. You will become a lover of their music, charmed by their shows and a fan forever.

www.tylersteelmusic.com - Tyler Steel is a true native of the Lone Star State, hailing from Waxahachie, Texas. Music has been a major part of his life from a very young age. At the age of 13, the aspiring singer picked up a guitar and his musical journey had begun. By 2006, Tyler packed up and moved to California to get a taste of the west coast, but as time went on, Texas seemed to be a better fit for him. Moving back to Texas jumpstarted Tyler’s career again, as shortly after he began recording in Ft. Worth. Not long after returning to his roots, Tyler received a phone call from Gary Sadker at Red Ridge Entertainment based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Tyler recorded an album and a music video through Red Ridge’s Label, Magenta Records, with help from Cupit Music and PK pictures.

http://www.bullockpaydirt.com - Troy Bullock can be best described with one phrase- “Stone Cold Country”. A mix of country music neo-con prime traditionalism and the fiddle and steel of yesteryear, country music’s greatest influences run deep in this small town Wyoming coal-miner. The echoes of a hard hitting, get-it-done working man with the slight blend of a closet poet embodies the persona of his music and everyday life characterized as “True Blue American”.

Having been discovered in the literal middle of nowhere by Mont-Merch Records A&R, during a what had then turned into a three year break from Nashville, Troy has described himself as “getting back to his roots”, which is simply none other than what MMR describes as “Western Under-Ground”. Label partner and CFO of Mont Merch Records, Kacie Martin, describes the first encounter in hearing “this incredible voice” in an unlikely small western setting as “simply Amazing!”

“We were in, for lack of a better word, a “dive” and immediately after hearing Troy’s deep voice and seeing the rare passion in his performance, I had to know his story” she said. “I was shocked to find that this talent was not marketed, and scolded him for hiding out in the middle-of-nowhere. The world deserves to hear his genuine talent, and I’ve been determined to make that happened ever since our first, chance meeting”.

Along with the ability to vocalize, the label soon discovered Troy’s talent for shaping a song and his desire to change the direction that Country Music is headed. “I just see an entire market of Country Music’s most loyal and loving fans being completely ignored and pushed to the wayside”, he said, “And I just can’t allow that to happen”. I thought Troy, in a way, discounted himself with that statement because as a writer, I love music in general and didn’t know I loved country music until I heard his material. In his writing and composing, some of the most haunting inflections of past greats seem to still live on. Kacie styles the first experience she had with Troy as not just another singer on the proverbial road to Stardom, but as a self-effacing songwriter crafting his own masterpieces among the dust and clutter of his basement in a modest blue house on Cottonwood Street.

“I was definitely hooked hearing him express his passion in cover songs, but” she added “that did not prepare me for who he was as a writer. I was, to say the least; absolutely blown away”. Soon after what was becoming a fortuitous moment, Troy exposed the idea he was working on for his first record release. “I returned to the area I grew up in to take back the essence of who I was prior to Nashville’, Troy said and added “in taking that step and becoming a coal miner, the album idea really started to formulate’.

The concept for the release, titled “Paydirt”, a ten track record, started deep underground in a Coal Mine in Wyoming’s famed Thunder Basin. The first single titled “Country-Go-Round”, an I’m-Damn-Tired, somewhat politically colored story of a coal miner and what he or she stands (or won’t stand) for, was written in the depths of the world’s largest open pit Coal Mine. This song shaped the entire album, telling stories of hard work, love-and-loss and sharing the hardships and woes of the heartland of America. The release of “Paydirt” is planned for May of 2015.

http://www.jenniferknight.com - Pop/Dance/Electronica Singer Jennifer Knight is the glamorous product of two worlds. She reigns in a harmonious universe as a pop/dance/electronica vocalist. On a dual paradigm, Jennifer rocks couture from runways to glamorous spreads in high-fashion magazines. With a powerful, four-octave range, Jennifer shines in the limelight as a singer-songwriter evoking stirring ballads and riveting up-tempo grooves!
Mixing the two worlds, Jennifer sashays and stylishly spins from pop/dance/electronica cuts, to funky R&B-tinged grooves, to heart-breaking ballads, there’s an impressive cache from this soulful vocalist.“I’m capable of crossing over genres from R&B to pop/dance/electronica. But, you have to have the training and technique,” says Jennifer, who was educated at the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music.
On this venture, Jennifer electrifies a kaleidoscope of various pop, R&B and dance/electronica cuts. The hooky, pop/dance first single, “Twinkle and Shine” was co-written with veteran singer-songwriter Kent Walker. Jennifer’s love-driven lyrics electrify the melodies on this track. Look for this hot single on iTunes April 22.
“Infinity,”an upbeat dance/pop single features fiery synth lines and a superb collaboration with hit songwriter/producer Jud Friedman (Whitney Houston, Leann Rimes, Toni Braxton). Receiving regular rotation as an underground club fave in Europe, “Infinity” describes the unending, perfect love relationship. This new take on the classic love song offers an infectious chorus, “Baby, your eyes are bluer than infinity.”
Jennifer’s sensitive side is highlighted on the gut-wrenching ballad, “Every Little Piece of My Heart.” She sojourns over a broken heart in this song co-written with seasoned folk artist-songwriter Kent Walker, and chart-topping producer, Mark Grilliot. Backed by cello strings and acoustic recordings, Jennifer delivers a haunting, albeit jarring vocalization. She performed this track at South by Southwest 2014 Music Festival to a welcoming crowd.
Hit making UK producers Kully B and Gussy G (Justin Timberlake, Assassin’s Creed III, Natacha Atlas) produce the explosive electronica single, “Free,” co-written by Jennifer. Mind-blowing synth lines generate this inspirational cut, exploring God’s universal love for mankind.
With the support of corporate sponsor Fromm, best known for designing and manufacturing Fox and Mink garments worn by Hollywood elites and Royal families, Jennifer is spinning her two paradigms into one universe: the worlds of fashion and music. Jennifer looks forward to a starry future and continued success.

AMERICANA WITH ATTITUDE, WHERE COUNTRY, ROCK & ROLL AND PUNK MEET!

http://www.thenickelslotsmusic.com - The Nickel Slots, an alt-country, Americana-styled roots rock band out of Sacramento, California, take you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influences from early roots Americana music as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk, The Nickel Slots draw the line that connects Johnny Cash to The Clash. From the sentimental folk tune to the foot-stomping, raucous sing-along, their alt-country rock songs bring you back to a long-lost memory or shared experience of pain, joy, heartache, love, hope, and redemption.

About the video:
Lead singer and acoustic guitarist Tony Brusca wrote the song as a tale about a boy taking a wrong path and eventually paying a price he comes to regret. The theme is akin to one selling their soul to the Devil, with the tragic realization that you got the bad end of the bargain. The child in the video represents the idea that the innocence of a child can turn malevolent at a young age.

About the band:
The Nickel Slots’ high-energy alt-country/Americana music takes you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influence from early roots Americana music as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk, The Nickel Slots draw the line that connects Johnny Cash to The Clash. From the sentimental folk tune to the foot-stomping, raucous sing-along, their alt-country rock songs bring you back to a long-lost memory or shared experience of pain, joy, heartache, love, hope, and redemption. Their music has been called Americana with attitude, where country, rock & roll, and punk meet.

Lead singer and acoustic guitarist Tony Brusca writes songs that tell unique stories and has a knack for connecting with audiences. Bassist and mandolin player Paul Zinn’s backing vocals add an extra dimension to Tony’s melodies and his bass lines just can’t sit still. Christopher Amaral, The Nickel Slots’ versatile drummer, lays down train beats and adds distinctive power to the band’s sound. His brother, award-winning electric guitarist Steve Amaral, throws down tasteful licks that dance across the line between rock and country.

http://www.thenickelslotsmusic.com/ - This song depicts the frustration a songwriter has with his guitar as he tries to write a new song and no creativity is coming out. He looks at the guitar hanging on the wall and hopes it will come down and help him write his next song as they have done many times in the past.

http://www.stephanieurbinajones.com - If there ever was a song that captures the Latin country spirit of living and loving life, it is "I Wanna Dance With You". I sat in the sunshine one afternoon with co-writers James Slater and Mark Marchetti and called in this fiery fun one, laughing all the way. It is, to date, one of my favorite songs to sing as its spirit is contagious and gets people singing and dancing right along.

About the video:
At the end of a two month tour of Europe, I followed my crazy heart and dream back to the small town of Gijon in Northern Spain to shoot the video for "I Wanna Dance With You". This video was inspired by the passion and hearts of the people in it, my hispanic heritage and this amazing club, the Savoy.

People all over the world love our culture and music! It was wonderful to share a part of our latin country/ americana slice of life with them. Every step has been a blessing: from writing, to recording, to performing and filming it always makes me smile and of course, WANNA DANCE!! CHA CHA CHA!

About Stephanie:
The San Antonio native is passionate about bringing the Hispanic and Latin heritage to the Country/Americana music worlds and beyond through her unique blend of bicultural music. It is through her collection of powerful Texicana country rock songs that she brings listeners on the journey that brought her through the wreckage to the resurrection of her heart and eventually to the revolución en her corazón.
For the last few years, the Latin Country/Americana artist has been winning international acclaim while shattering traditional music industry boundaries and genres. The Austin American-Statesman says, “Stephanie has what most people would regard as the right tools for her chosen life’s work: an agile songwriter’s pen; a smoky supple voice; devastating good looks; and a refreshing lack of music orthodoxy. But Jones real gifts are an adamant determination, a healthy skepticism about fast buck payoffs, and a work ethic that would put John Henry and his hammer to shame.”
Her heart, musical direction and dedication to helping others were shaped by growing up in San Antonio, where her grand- mother, Señora Jones, served as the unofficial welcome wagon of immigrants, whom she helped navigate in this strange new world while finding them jobs and housing. “I spent Sunday afternoons at my abuelita’s (grandmother’s) house where we would have barbecues in her backyard, listening to country greats like Waylon and Willie as well as border music from Mexico while mariachis rehearsed in the neighborhood. I was blessed to soak up all of these different cultures and music as a child.”
After her parents divorced she moved to the hill country town of Fredericksburg, Texas, where she spent weekends two-stepping in honkytonks and being immersed in the music of the Kerrville Folk Festival.
Her love of music began early, when she would listen to Carole King’s Tapestry and Linda Ronstadt albums on her record player. After graduating from the University of Texas, she decided that music was the only thing that she could put her heart into, so she landed music business jobs in Austin before moving to Nashville. After working for an artist management company and producer Randy Scruggs, she landed a songwriting deal with hit songwriter Jim McBride and Sony/ ATV/ Tree. She planned on remaining behind the scenes as a writer until she visited her dying grandmother, whose last words to her changed the course of her life.
“She took my hand and said, ‘Mija (little girl), you are going to be a voice for our people. Your music will carry our culture in song all over the world.’
“After she passed, I went to Mexico and studied because I wanted to know more about my Hispanic heritage. I fell in love with the people and their hearts and had an awakening that this was mine to do.” The first song she wrote in Mexico, “Revolución,” sparked her new career direction as a performer/songwriter.
She got her first cut when country star Lorrie Morgan recorded “Shakin’ Things Up” and made it the title track of her album. Jones recorded it herself and became the first independent female artist to hit No. 1 on the Texas Music Chart, a spot she held for five weeks
As her career exploded, other artists reached new heights with her songs. After winning NBC’s The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd released her song “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart.
With her new release, Fiery Angel, she arrives as a woman who inspires, a songwriter who bravely explores the heart’s darkest corners and a singer who interprets the highs and lows of life with vulnerability, passion and intimacy while carrying the heart of her bicultural roots to audiences all over the world. Her work is deeper and richer and she is more focused than ever before.
“One of the reasons why I wanted to put this album out, especially now that I am on the other side of it, is because maybe just maybe one of these songs will inspire someone else to keep moving through their own fire till they get to the other side. There is something powerful about the burning away of all of the things that I thought were important to make way for this great, inspired life to come through. If people can get a glimpse of believing or experiencing their own faith through my music, then my job is done.”

http://lindsaybroughton.com - Lindsay Broughton has a clearer idea of what she wants for her second album, due for release in the fall on Curve Music. The first single, “Don’t Mix,” currently at radio, is a good indication, a big bright song that touches on something most people can’t put a finger on.
“You and me we just don’t add up/We’re like the rock without the roll/The stop without the go/And I wish it wasn’t so/But it is what it is/And, baby, we both know.”
“I feel everybody’s been in this situation where you’ve dated somebody or you’ve been on a blind date and there’s not anything wrong with the person, but you feel you just don’t mix,” Lindsay says. “I wanted the song to be fun and cater to males and females.”
While her 2014 debut album, Take Me There, earned her a prestigious Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards nomination for Rising Star in 2015, it was mostly culled from songs she’d written between 2008 and 2014. “It’s cool for me to listen back now because you can hear a lot of growth in the record,” she says.
Lindsay grew up in the small town of Brooklin, Ontario, less than an hour’s drive from Toronto. The close-knit community — where her mother and grandmother are also from and Lindsay still lives — had one public school and everybody knew everybody. While the place is rapidly changing, she says, “It’s where I belong; I’m not a city girl.”
Her mother was also a country music singer who played shows with a cover band. In Lindsay’s teens, she went through a phase of singing in a rock band, just so she wasn’t like her mom. She wrote poetry and joined the School Alliance of Student Songwriters (SASS), which performed at other schools and even hooked the teens up with established co-writers, including the legendary Dan Hill.
SASS sent Lindsay on her first trip to Nashville to meet with various members of the music industry and play them her original material. She was offered a writing deal with one of the most successful publishing companies in country music, but her parents wouldn’t allow her to sign because she was still in high school. “When I came back, I was all about country music and I quit the rock band,” Lindsay says.
She recorded some country songs and posted them on MySpace. In a matter of weeks, Curve Music’s Brian Hetherman messaged her. After checking him out with Dan Hill, she replied and met with him in Toronto. Brian brought in country music producer Joel Feeney (co-writer of LeAnn Rimes’ “Nothin’ ‘Bout Love Makes Sense”) and she signed with the label in 2008. Her first single, “Restless As The Rain,” landed in the top 40, and her two self-titled EPs in 2012 led to a win at the 2013 Country Music Awards of Ontario for Rising Star.
It was then time to get to work on her debut full-length, with Joel co-producing with Kevin Savigar (Rod Stewart, LeAnn Rimes) and featuring co-writes with Josh Osborne (Kenny Chesney, The Band Perry) and Trevor Rosen (Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban).
“Making the full-length record was such a cool experience and one of the hardest things was deleting songs that I didn’t want to be part of the record. It ended up 14 or 15 songs with bonus tracks,” says Lindsay. “Now, I’m writing from real life experience. It’s a completely different process. I’d like to have a theme on my next record, rather than a compilation.”
“And going forward, I have a better idea of what I want in terms of the live show because when I was making the first record, I didn’t think about what these songs would be like to play onstage every night and what type of show I’d be able to put together. I love the country pop-rock stuff and I used to be in a rock group and that’s what I love and makes me feel good. I’m just gonna do me.”

http://www.baileyjamescountry.com - 13-year-old country recording artist Bailey James is a lot like a superhero living two lives. Her daily routine includes being plopped behind a desk listening to her seventh grade teacher but, once school lets out, she is a budding singer-songwriter already capturing the attention of producers in Nashville! Think about it: How many students sitting in a school cafeteria can tell stories about performing at Music City’s legendary Bluebird Cafe?
Bailey spends a lot of her time away from school working on her music and learning about what it takes to be a successful singer and musician. That includes using Skype to team up with hit songwriters, recording songs at studios on Music Row in Nashville, taking voice lessons with world-renowned singer Diana Reed, and learning how to play guitar.
When she isn’t wrapped up in her music, Bailey enjoys hanging out with her friends and talking about boys, posting an endless stream of selfies on Instagram, and chatting up her fans on social media. She also loves quality time with her two cats and telling anybody willing to listen about that time Taylor Swift shook her hand during her Speak Now tour!”
