www.tylersteelmusic.com - Tyler Steel is a true native of the Lone Star State, hailing from Waxahachie, Texas. Music has been a major part of his life from a very young age. At the age of 13, the aspiring singer picked up a guitar and his musical journey had begun. By 2006, Tyler packed up and moved to California to get a taste of the west coast, but as time went on, Texas seemed to be a better fit for him. Moving back to Texas jumpstarted Tyler’s career again, as shortly after he began recording in Ft. Worth. Not long after returning to his roots, Tyler received a phone call from Gary Sadker at Red Ridge Entertainment based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Tyler recorded an album and a music video through Red Ridge’s Label, Magenta Records, with help from Cupit Music and PK pictures.

http://www.bullockpaydirt.com - Troy Bullock can be best described with one phrase- “Stone Cold Country”. A mix of country music neo-con prime traditionalism and the fiddle and steel of yesteryear, country music’s greatest influences run deep in this small town Wyoming coal-miner. The echoes of a hard hitting, get-it-done working man with the slight blend of a closet poet embodies the persona of his music and everyday life characterized as “True Blue American”.

Having been discovered in the literal middle of nowhere by Mont-Merch Records A&R, during a what had then turned into a three year break from Nashville, Troy has described himself as “getting back to his roots”, which is simply none other than what MMR describes as “Western Under-Ground”. Label partner and CFO of Mont Merch Records, Kacie Martin, describes the first encounter in hearing “this incredible voice” in an unlikely small western setting as “simply Amazing!”

“We were in, for lack of a better word, a “dive” and immediately after hearing Troy’s deep voice and seeing the rare passion in his performance, I had to know his story” she said. “I was shocked to find that this talent was not marketed, and scolded him for hiding out in the middle-of-nowhere. The world deserves to hear his genuine talent, and I’ve been determined to make that happened ever since our first, chance meeting”.

Along with the ability to vocalize, the label soon discovered Troy’s talent for shaping a song and his desire to change the direction that Country Music is headed. “I just see an entire market of Country Music’s most loyal and loving fans being completely ignored and pushed to the wayside”, he said, “And I just can’t allow that to happen”. I thought Troy, in a way, discounted himself with that statement because as a writer, I love music in general and didn’t know I loved country music until I heard his material. In his writing and composing, some of the most haunting inflections of past greats seem to still live on. Kacie styles the first experience she had with Troy as not just another singer on the proverbial road to Stardom, but as a self-effacing songwriter crafting his own masterpieces among the dust and clutter of his basement in a modest blue house on Cottonwood Street.

“I was definitely hooked hearing him express his passion in cover songs, but” she added “that did not prepare me for who he was as a writer. I was, to say the least; absolutely blown away”. Soon after what was becoming a fortuitous moment, Troy exposed the idea he was working on for his first record release. “I returned to the area I grew up in to take back the essence of who I was prior to Nashville’, Troy said and added “in taking that step and becoming a coal miner, the album idea really started to formulate’.

The concept for the release, titled “Paydirt”, a ten track record, started deep underground in a Coal Mine in Wyoming’s famed Thunder Basin. The first single titled “Country-Go-Round”, an I’m-Damn-Tired, somewhat politically colored story of a coal miner and what he or she stands (or won’t stand) for, was written in the depths of the world’s largest open pit Coal Mine. This song shaped the entire album, telling stories of hard work, love-and-loss and sharing the hardships and woes of the heartland of America. The release of “Paydirt” is planned for May of 2015.

http://www.jenniferknight.com - Pop/Dance/Electronica Singer Jennifer Knight is the glamorous product of two worlds. She reigns in a harmonious universe as a pop/dance/electronica vocalist. On a dual paradigm, Jennifer rocks couture from runways to glamorous spreads in high-fashion magazines. With a powerful, four-octave range, Jennifer shines in the limelight as a singer-songwriter evoking stirring ballads and riveting up-tempo grooves!
Mixing the two worlds, Jennifer sashays and stylishly spins from pop/dance/electronica cuts, to funky R&B-tinged grooves, to heart-breaking ballads, there’s an impressive cache from this soulful vocalist.“I’m capable of crossing over genres from R&B to pop/dance/electronica. But, you have to have the training and technique,” says Jennifer, who was educated at the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music.
On this venture, Jennifer electrifies a kaleidoscope of various pop, R&B and dance/electronica cuts. The hooky, pop/dance first single, “Twinkle and Shine” was co-written with veteran singer-songwriter Kent Walker. Jennifer’s love-driven lyrics electrify the melodies on this track. Look for this hot single on iTunes April 22.
“Infinity,”an upbeat dance/pop single features fiery synth lines and a superb collaboration with hit songwriter/producer Jud Friedman (Whitney Houston, Leann Rimes, Toni Braxton). Receiving regular rotation as an underground club fave in Europe, “Infinity” describes the unending, perfect love relationship. This new take on the classic love song offers an infectious chorus, “Baby, your eyes are bluer than infinity.”
Jennifer’s sensitive side is highlighted on the gut-wrenching ballad, “Every Little Piece of My Heart.” She sojourns over a broken heart in this song co-written with seasoned folk artist-songwriter Kent Walker, and chart-topping producer, Mark Grilliot. Backed by cello strings and acoustic recordings, Jennifer delivers a haunting, albeit jarring vocalization. She performed this track at South by Southwest 2014 Music Festival to a welcoming crowd.
Hit making UK producers Kully B and Gussy G (Justin Timberlake, Assassin’s Creed III, Natacha Atlas) produce the explosive electronica single, “Free,” co-written by Jennifer. Mind-blowing synth lines generate this inspirational cut, exploring God’s universal love for mankind.
With the support of corporate sponsor Fromm, best known for designing and manufacturing Fox and Mink garments worn by Hollywood elites and Royal families, Jennifer is spinning her two paradigms into one universe: the worlds of fashion and music. Jennifer looks forward to a starry future and continued success.

AMERICANA WITH ATTITUDE, WHERE COUNTRY, ROCK & ROLL AND PUNK MEET!

http://www.thenickelslotsmusic.com - The Nickel Slots, an alt-country, Americana-styled roots rock band out of Sacramento, California, take you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influences from early roots Americana music as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk, The Nickel Slots draw the line that connects Johnny Cash to The Clash. From the sentimental folk tune to the foot-stomping, raucous sing-along, their alt-country rock songs bring you back to a long-lost memory or shared experience of pain, joy, heartache, love, hope, and redemption.

About the video:
Lead singer and acoustic guitarist Tony Brusca wrote the song as a tale about a boy taking a wrong path and eventually paying a price he comes to regret. The theme is akin to one selling their soul to the Devil, with the tragic realization that you got the bad end of the bargain. The child in the video represents the idea that the innocence of a child can turn malevolent at a young age.

About the band:
The Nickel Slots’ high-energy alt-country/Americana music takes you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influence from early roots Americana music as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk, The Nickel Slots draw the line that connects Johnny Cash to The Clash. From the sentimental folk tune to the foot-stomping, raucous sing-along, their alt-country rock songs bring you back to a long-lost memory or shared experience of pain, joy, heartache, love, hope, and redemption. Their music has been called Americana with attitude, where country, rock & roll, and punk meet.

Lead singer and acoustic guitarist Tony Brusca writes songs that tell unique stories and has a knack for connecting with audiences. Bassist and mandolin player Paul Zinn’s backing vocals add an extra dimension to Tony’s melodies and his bass lines just can’t sit still. Christopher Amaral, The Nickel Slots’ versatile drummer, lays down train beats and adds distinctive power to the band’s sound. His brother, award-winning electric guitarist Steve Amaral, throws down tasteful licks that dance across the line between rock and country.

http://www.thenickelslotsmusic.com/ - This song depicts the frustration a songwriter has with his guitar as he tries to write a new song and no creativity is coming out. He looks at the guitar hanging on the wall and hopes it will come down and help him write his next song as they have done many times in the past.

http://www.stephanieurbinajones.com - If there ever was a song that captures the Latin country spirit of living and loving life, it is "I Wanna Dance With You". I sat in the sunshine one afternoon with co-writers James Slater and Mark Marchetti and called in this fiery fun one, laughing all the way. It is, to date, one of my favorite songs to sing as its spirit is contagious and gets people singing and dancing right along.

About the video:
At the end of a two month tour of Europe, I followed my crazy heart and dream back to the small town of Gijon in Northern Spain to shoot the video for "I Wanna Dance With You". This video was inspired by the passion and hearts of the people in it, my hispanic heritage and this amazing club, the Savoy.

People all over the world love our culture and music! It was wonderful to share a part of our latin country/ americana slice of life with them. Every step has been a blessing: from writing, to recording, to performing and filming it always makes me smile and of course, WANNA DANCE!! CHA CHA CHA!

About Stephanie:
The San Antonio native is passionate about bringing the Hispanic and Latin heritage to the Country/Americana music worlds and beyond through her unique blend of bicultural music. It is through her collection of powerful Texicana country rock songs that she brings listeners on the journey that brought her through the wreckage to the resurrection of her heart and eventually to the revolución en her corazón.
For the last few years, the Latin Country/Americana artist has been winning international acclaim while shattering traditional music industry boundaries and genres. The Austin American-Statesman says, “Stephanie has what most people would regard as the right tools for her chosen life’s work: an agile songwriter’s pen; a smoky supple voice; devastating good looks; and a refreshing lack of music orthodoxy. But Jones real gifts are an adamant determination, a healthy skepticism about fast buck payoffs, and a work ethic that would put John Henry and his hammer to shame.”
Her heart, musical direction and dedication to helping others were shaped by growing up in San Antonio, where her grand- mother, Señora Jones, served as the unofficial welcome wagon of immigrants, whom she helped navigate in this strange new world while finding them jobs and housing. “I spent Sunday afternoons at my abuelita’s (grandmother’s) house where we would have barbecues in her backyard, listening to country greats like Waylon and Willie as well as border music from Mexico while mariachis rehearsed in the neighborhood. I was blessed to soak up all of these different cultures and music as a child.”
After her parents divorced she moved to the hill country town of Fredericksburg, Texas, where she spent weekends two-stepping in honkytonks and being immersed in the music of the Kerrville Folk Festival.
Her love of music began early, when she would listen to Carole King’s Tapestry and Linda Ronstadt albums on her record player. After graduating from the University of Texas, she decided that music was the only thing that she could put her heart into, so she landed music business jobs in Austin before moving to Nashville. After working for an artist management company and producer Randy Scruggs, she landed a songwriting deal with hit songwriter Jim McBride and Sony/ ATV/ Tree. She planned on remaining behind the scenes as a writer until she visited her dying grandmother, whose last words to her changed the course of her life.
“She took my hand and said, ‘Mija (little girl), you are going to be a voice for our people. Your music will carry our culture in song all over the world.’
“After she passed, I went to Mexico and studied because I wanted to know more about my Hispanic heritage. I fell in love with the people and their hearts and had an awakening that this was mine to do.” The first song she wrote in Mexico, “Revolución,” sparked her new career direction as a performer/songwriter.
She got her first cut when country star Lorrie Morgan recorded “Shakin’ Things Up” and made it the title track of her album. Jones recorded it herself and became the first independent female artist to hit No. 1 on the Texas Music Chart, a spot she held for five weeks
As her career exploded, other artists reached new heights with her songs. After winning NBC’s The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd released her song “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart.
With her new release, Fiery Angel, she arrives as a woman who inspires, a songwriter who bravely explores the heart’s darkest corners and a singer who interprets the highs and lows of life with vulnerability, passion and intimacy while carrying the heart of her bicultural roots to audiences all over the world. Her work is deeper and richer and she is more focused than ever before.
“One of the reasons why I wanted to put this album out, especially now that I am on the other side of it, is because maybe just maybe one of these songs will inspire someone else to keep moving through their own fire till they get to the other side. There is something powerful about the burning away of all of the things that I thought were important to make way for this great, inspired life to come through. If people can get a glimpse of believing or experiencing their own faith through my music, then my job is done.”

http://lindsaybroughton.com - Lindsay Broughton has a clearer idea of what she wants for her second album, due for release in the fall on Curve Music. The first single, “Don’t Mix,” currently at radio, is a good indication, a big bright song that touches on something most people can’t put a finger on.
“You and me we just don’t add up/We’re like the rock without the roll/The stop without the go/And I wish it wasn’t so/But it is what it is/And, baby, we both know.”
“I feel everybody’s been in this situation where you’ve dated somebody or you’ve been on a blind date and there’s not anything wrong with the person, but you feel you just don’t mix,” Lindsay says. “I wanted the song to be fun and cater to males and females.”
While her 2014 debut album, Take Me There, earned her a prestigious Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards nomination for Rising Star in 2015, it was mostly culled from songs she’d written between 2008 and 2014. “It’s cool for me to listen back now because you can hear a lot of growth in the record,” she says.
Lindsay grew up in the small town of Brooklin, Ontario, less than an hour’s drive from Toronto. The close-knit community — where her mother and grandmother are also from and Lindsay still lives — had one public school and everybody knew everybody. While the place is rapidly changing, she says, “It’s where I belong; I’m not a city girl.”
Her mother was also a country music singer who played shows with a cover band. In Lindsay’s teens, she went through a phase of singing in a rock band, just so she wasn’t like her mom. She wrote poetry and joined the School Alliance of Student Songwriters (SASS), which performed at other schools and even hooked the teens up with established co-writers, including the legendary Dan Hill.
SASS sent Lindsay on her first trip to Nashville to meet with various members of the music industry and play them her original material. She was offered a writing deal with one of the most successful publishing companies in country music, but her parents wouldn’t allow her to sign because she was still in high school. “When I came back, I was all about country music and I quit the rock band,” Lindsay says.
She recorded some country songs and posted them on MySpace. In a matter of weeks, Curve Music’s Brian Hetherman messaged her. After checking him out with Dan Hill, she replied and met with him in Toronto. Brian brought in country music producer Joel Feeney (co-writer of LeAnn Rimes’ “Nothin’ ‘Bout Love Makes Sense”) and she signed with the label in 2008. Her first single, “Restless As The Rain,” landed in the top 40, and her two self-titled EPs in 2012 led to a win at the 2013 Country Music Awards of Ontario for Rising Star.
It was then time to get to work on her debut full-length, with Joel co-producing with Kevin Savigar (Rod Stewart, LeAnn Rimes) and featuring co-writes with Josh Osborne (Kenny Chesney, The Band Perry) and Trevor Rosen (Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban).
“Making the full-length record was such a cool experience and one of the hardest things was deleting songs that I didn’t want to be part of the record. It ended up 14 or 15 songs with bonus tracks,” says Lindsay. “Now, I’m writing from real life experience. It’s a completely different process. I’d like to have a theme on my next record, rather than a compilation.”
“And going forward, I have a better idea of what I want in terms of the live show because when I was making the first record, I didn’t think about what these songs would be like to play onstage every night and what type of show I’d be able to put together. I love the country pop-rock stuff and I used to be in a rock group and that’s what I love and makes me feel good. I’m just gonna do me.”

http://www.baileyjamescountry.com - 13-year-old country recording artist Bailey James is a lot like a superhero living two lives. Her daily routine includes being plopped behind a desk listening to her seventh grade teacher but, once school lets out, she is a budding singer-songwriter already capturing the attention of producers in Nashville! Think about it: How many students sitting in a school cafeteria can tell stories about performing at Music City’s legendary Bluebird Cafe?
Bailey spends a lot of her time away from school working on her music and learning about what it takes to be a successful singer and musician. That includes using Skype to team up with hit songwriters, recording songs at studios on Music Row in Nashville, taking voice lessons with world-renowned singer Diana Reed, and learning how to play guitar.
When she isn’t wrapped up in her music, Bailey enjoys hanging out with her friends and talking about boys, posting an endless stream of selfies on Instagram, and chatting up her fans on social media. She also loves quality time with her two cats and telling anybody willing to listen about that time Taylor Swift shook her hand during her Speak Now tour!”

http://www.jimmywhitemusic.com - “Michaela” is a song about one of God’s angels, and how easy it is to love her. However, even though angels are easy to love, she cannot ever be available to love just one person. The message is exciting and offers layers of meaning that touch different people in different ways.

New Music Weekly called Michaela “the perfect song to brighten up your music playlist in 2016.”

White is not a newcomer to the music scene. In his impressive thirty-year career, White has reached #1 over a dozen times on the Independent Adult Contemporary Charts, he is both the most-nominated and winning artist in the history of the IMN music awards and the New Music Awards. Jimmy has also charted four times in the Billboard AC Top 40—among other accomplishments. #Jimmywhitemusic #Michaela
