Growing up on a small cattle operation in Texas develops an understanding of how one benefits from a strong work ethic and an appreciation for all that life has to offer. A large part of that appreciation struck Randy at an early age in the form of rock-n-roll and country music. Writing songs and performing provides the expression that he deeply enjoys. Having opened shows for such country acts as George Strait, Randy Travis and the Dixie Chicks to name a few, Randy has made a name for himself as a singer/songwriter with a vision and a voice to be heard. With the support of his family, Randy has been able to accomplish many of his musical aspirations while fulfilling another dream of which he is most proud, that being the life of a full-time firefighter. "It's such an honor to be given the chance to have a positive impact on the lives of others. I have been blessed," he gratefully states. He continues to make that impact through both avenues.
