Best Quran Classes for Kids?

  • Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for Quran classes suitable for kids, preferably in a structured and engaging way. My child is around 7 years old and I want classes that focus on both Quran reading (Tajweed) and understanding basic meanings. If anyone knows a good program, you can click here for more details or resources.

Are there online options that are interactive and kid-friendly, or local in-person programs with experienced teachers? I’m also curious about class duration, frequency, and whether they offer progress tracking. Any personal experiences or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi!

I’ve had a really positive experience with a few options that might work for your 7-year-old. For online classes, Quran Academy and Studio Arabiya offer interactive sessions with experienced teachers, focusing on both Tajweed and basic understanding. They usually have 30–45 minute classes, 2–3 times a week, and provide progress reports, which really helped us track my child’s improvement.

You can click here to explore one of these platforms and see if it fits your child’s needs. For in-person options, check local mosques or Islamic centers, as many run structured kids’ programs with small groups, which keeps children engaged. My child has gained confidence in reading, better pronunciation, and a deeper connection to the Quran. It’s worth trying a free trial first to see what clicks.
