Does modafinil help OCD?
Modalert 200 improves alertness and can improve attention and cognitive flexibility, perhaps reducing specific OCD symptoms, especially when paired with traditional therapies such as SSRIs or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Modalert 200 has been used to treat tiredness and enhance executive function in persons with OCD. However, its effects are variable, and it does not directly address the underlying reasons of OCD.
