Friday Open Thread: Baseball memories with dad

As Fathers Day approaches this Sunday, we turn our attention to dads everywhere. For many sports fans, a love of baseball was likely passed down through a parent not necessarily dad! We have plenty of baseballloving moms out there. Theres just something special about sharing a love of team through the family my own father wasnt a big baseball guy I could do a different column about Formula 1 memories with dad for my childhood, a lot of folks grew up watching baseball or attending games with their dads. And even now, many of our readers and staff are fathers, introducing the sport to their own for our Friday open thread this week, we want your best, funniest, most heartwarming dadrelated baseball stories.
