Why does bad luck always hit at the worst time?

Hello to everyone in this forum, I really need your suggestions, I am freaking out right now because my laptop screen just went black and I think I lost all my study notes. I have been trying to fix it for hours but nothing is working at all. My project management exam is in two days and I feel completely helpless without my materials. I am so stressed that I cannot even think straight anymore. I was so panicked that I actually considered looking for a PMP exam service just to save my score. Does anyone else deal with tech disasters or am I just cursed?
