Jeff Crew was born in Melbourne, Australia and raised on a farm in Western Victoria. He was in choirs as a child between the ages of 5 and 12 and was in his first band at 16 where he played local shows and acted as a support band, and he was in his second band at 19. Since that time Jeff has been writing and recording his own material and building a fan base which has grown in excess of 100000 in a 5 year period with minimal marketing & promotion and has recently signed a two year recording contract with a U.S record label.
Jeff's music and stories focus on reality and relate to all aspects of society, He creates awareness for illness, remembrance for soldiers and draws attention to the common vulnerabilities we all share as human beings, trials in life as well as successes.
Jeff is an extremely disciplined writer and
his sound from one track to the next does vary quite a lot as he allows the topic to dictate the melody and this is what distinguishes this artist from other musicians.
