Lee's an English singer songwriter who writes in many styles of music : folk/ pop , country , rockabilly and rock . Many of his songs have a strong "transatlantic" flavour.
He lists influences that are many and varied – ranging from US greats like Paul Simon , James Taylor and Don Mclean , country greats like Tammy Wynette , George Jones and Lonestar , English songwriters Cat Stevens , Nick Drake , Al Stewart and John Martyn and Ireland's Chris De Burgh.
His first album On Roosevelt covered subjects as rich and diverse at the recent infamous "calling card" girls story on Roosevelt Avenue New York to fallen solders being returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. His folk/pop love song "Completely Yours" was a finalist in the Hollywood Song Contest of 2015.
His new album of original songs "Usual Alias"has just been released 2017 . One of those songs "Always Reminders" has reached the semi finals of the UK Songwriting Contest 2017
Lee has in the past also collaborated on writing country songs.
