Laphonso Badie (born October 13, 1989) is New Money Nuvo an American rapper, record producer, director, fashion designer, and the head of his own independent record label, New Money Music Records (NMM Records). Originally from Palm Beach, Florida and now residing in Alabama has made many appearances performing alongside with main stream artist such as Migos, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Bank Roll Fresh, Webbie, Fetty Wap, and Waka Flocka Flame. He has been featured in magazines such as Concrete Magazine and Hype Magazine. After releasing his first project “I Didn’t Know You Rap” and his collaboration project with New Money Champ B, “Unexpected” which led to their single “Pocket Watchin,” he gained recognition from A&R, Lex Grana (Warner Music Group) and surrounding areas such as Tennessee (Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga), Atlanta Georgia, and Los Angeles California.
