Honors student at Rocky Mount (NC–yes, Thelonius Monk's birthplace) Band, NC Governor's School. Studied Music Theory and Performance at UNC-Chapel Hill and Barton College, Wilson NC.

Longstanding member of Atlanta Federation of Musicians, and therefore American Federation of Musicians and International Federation of Musicians.
